Access to universities and higher education institutions worldwide

Students leave our English-language academic Secondary School with International A Levels. These qualifications are recognised around the world and open doors to higher education institutions across the globe. Unlike the Swiss baccalaureate, A Levels only cover a broad range of subjects during the first two years, after which the young people can focus entirely on their strengths. In an informal environment, we prepare our students for a university degree and promote their all-round development.

The Academia International School is a recognised examination centre certified by Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge Assessment International Education. This accreditation allows us to hold IGCSE and A Level exams on our premises in Basel and Zurich.

Small by design: our English-speaking grammar school in Basel, Zurich and Winterthur.

«Academia International School has a lively, innovative culture. We have a strong sense of community in which our students learn to take responsibility for themselves and those around them, and to play an effective role in shaping the future.»
